Street Certified Car Show/Track Day

Words and Photos by: Daniel Allen

Street Certified is by far my absolute favorite local show each year. They have a amazing venue at the Milwaukee Mile race track, a huge stage with live music and dancing, and other awesome forms of entertainment. Just the sheer amount of hard work put into this show just makes it stand out from all the other shows.

This year unfortunately, after some 8 months of planning and organizing to make one of their biggest shows so far, mother nature had something different to say. Unfortunately it poured the majority of the day and because of safety issues they were forced to end the show early. Even though the weather was some of the worst we have seen all spring, hundreds still came together to support the Street Certified and attend the show. It was amazing to see the community come together and endure the weather, wait it out as long as they could to show their support, and share this passion that we all have. I even saw a good amount of cars racing on the track and there were even a couple people dedicated enough to come on bikes/scooters! Even though the weather was not in our favor this was overall a great show. I don’t know many shows that can have the amount of people that were there acting as if it wasn’t raining at all. Vicky and Patrick did a incredible job as well as every single person on the Street Certified team that were dedicated enough to stand out in the cold and the rain to give us the best show they possible could.
